Waterloo Recreation Area Christmas Bird Count St Demetrius Orthodox Church Ancient Byzantine Frescos

For over 5 years now St. Demetrius has been adorning the church with Byzantine Frescoes.  Niculai Enachi, the Iconographer, uses an ancient technique that dates back over 1800 years to cover the walls and ceilings with this specialized painting.
